Mentorship Program

The Cornell Real Estate Club Mentorship program is a highly selective Semester long program focused on providing freshmen and sophomores who have an interest in real estate with general interview preparation targeted for finance and real estate interviews. Throughout the semester, mentees will participate in our keynote Real Estate 101 Series, Cover Letter and Resume Reviews, Case Studies, the CREC Speaker Series, and an array of Social Events to create lasting personal and professional relationships between mentors and mentees.

Real Estate 101 Lecture Series

The Real Estate 101 lecture series prepares students for future recruitment and interviews through resume and cover letter workshops. It also exposes them to technical concepts such as the Discounted Cash Flow model and foundational finance concepts.

Speaker Events

Our department of Alumni Relations, led by Jade Woo, host speaker events for mentees to understand what it is like to work in real estate, discover different career paths and make connections with the speakers. Many of which are alumni!

Case Study Competition

The program culminates with a case study competition, where students put together what they learned in the program and present their hard work, creating a realistic industry setting that focuses on collaboration.
